WIND Mobile Pricing: Post your Rumours Here on Texting, Minutes, Data Plans and more!

Submitted by Voip-Cell-Admin on Sat, 12/12/2009 - 04:27

For now, we really have no idea what WIND plans to actually charge. Nothing official has been announced on the WIND Mobile Website. See the comment below for rumoured pricing, or post your own rumours!

However, it is reasonably safe to say that the main cost for operating a cell phone network is in setting everything up rather than the cost of each individual minute or text sent.

WIND Service Coverage In Ontario Canada (Hamilton, Burlington, Oshawa, Whitby)

Submitted by Voip-Cell-Admin on Fri, 12/11/2009 - 22:28

It is still very early to say just how widespread WIND's initial coverage will be, so far, we've mainly been hearing about "Calgary and Toronto", as I stated in my previous article. Secondly, we really don't know how quickly they'll be expanding, but hopefully fast once they work out the initial kinks.

However, WIND's definition of these areas, or at least Toronto anyway, is very conservative.

Koodo Data and Mobile Browser Charges

Since Koodo does not have a specific charge for data or mobile browser, rather it is dependent on the plan one has through them, it is only possible to post the additional charges on top of what your plan stipulates.
