I used to work for Them. This article tells exactly our situation on the other end. If there are notes of an offer that should not have been offered "the low ball offer" we are supposed to just say "what you say you are offered is not possible, sir/miss". Even if somehow the offer goes through, your credits will be removed if someone catches it and you will be told that it just is not possible to have that many credits. Managers and customer loyalty/retention have the ability to change your plan however they want to, through as many credits or promotions as they want but will tell you they can't, which is the easiest excuse. Haven't you questioned how some people can have these low plan prices with all these credits if it is "not possible".

How can they get away with this. I am stuck and dont know what to do. I wouldnt have gone with Rogers if I knew what I was actually going to pay.

I am glad someone posted this. I was looking online to see if anyone else was having problems with this. I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH ROBBERS! Let's all go to a more reasonably priced company like WIND that wont rip us off!

This is terrible to hear. I am loooking at getting my first cell phone and after reading this I am staying away from Rogers. Maybe other companies have other problems but to hear that a lot of people are having this problem would scare me to be with them. I will probably go with Bell or Wind if I am in their zone. Any other suggestions?

I just went through this as well. Way to go guys for letting others know what to be careful with. Robbers (that iterm has caught on with me haha) is definitely not the company to be with right now.
25. This happened to me 3 months
This happened to me 3 months ago. I was paying $20 more a month then I was promised because they couldnt add a credit I was told I was going to get. They told me there were no notes so they couldnt do anything about it :(. I was paying $70 a month for a crappier plan then my friend who has an unlimited plan for $50. It cost me a lot to cancel. I argued that since it was not what I agreed to I should not be stuck in the contract but they forced me to buy out or suck up the cost. Shouldnt I beable to see my first bill and then decide to get out of the contract for no cost if they did not honor what I was offered?
