There are no extra charges by texting anywhere in North America (Canada & USA)!
You can send and receive text and picture messages anywhere in Canada without having extra charges!
If you are in the U.S., you can use text without extra charges. However, picture messages will be considered as downloading (rate will depend on the U.S. provider used).
You can get service in hundreds of cities in the United States, with wireless high speed roaming in over 230 cities.

Depending on what phone you have. If you have a smart phone you require a data plan and pay for the mms messages which are considered seperate from the sms (text) messages. This of course can get costly. If you are using a non smart phone then there is no data package required but you still consider mms message seperate from sms. So you will be given unlimited text with a certain amount of picture messages.
